CherAnn Wright is an author who has always lived on the Wright Side of Dark.
She began writing as a teenager. Dark poetry became her escape, words that made sense of a world that sometimes didn’t. Life took her in a different direction for a while. She earned her degree, became a special education teacher, and spent 17 years pouring herself into students who needed someone steady in their corner, learning patience and persistence along the way.
But the stories never left her.
After sending her oldest daughter off to college and watching her youngest finish high school, CherAnn finally sat down and wrote her debut novel, Where Secrets Stay. This was just the beginning. She has since written three more novels, with a fifth currently in progress. Her work is now available in both English, German, and Spanish, with more translations on the way.
Now, CherAnn has made the decision to leave the classroom and become a full time writer. She is building a body of work and a life as a full-time author and authorpreneur, on her own terms, in her own voice.
The dark has always been where she does her best work.
